Logic Pro 9 Pulling beats back into Ultrabeat

Hey guys. Just recently migrated from PC to Mac. I used to use Audition 3 and Fruity Loops for drum sequencing, but both programs are really showing their age, so I'm looking to move to Logic. I'm messing with Ultrabeat, and am having a problem. I make loop #1, copy it into the arrangement area, then go into Ultrabeat and modify it into a new loop, loop #2, and copy it into my arrangement area. Is there any way to pull up loop #1 in Ultrabeat again?

I'm used to have anywhere from 20-50 different loops in a song... I try to make cool intricate drum beats. If I have to save each loop as a "pattern" in Ultrabeat, I'm afraid I'm going to max it out since I see only 24 available spots.

Thanks for any pointers!

Loading and Saving Ultrabeat Setting should be your ticket...
  • An Ultrabeat setting contains:
  • The drum kit, which consists of 25 drum sounds, including assignment and mixer settings
  • The complete parameter settings of all 25 sounds
  • The sequencer settings and all patterns, including step automation, trigger, velocity, and gate information for all 25 sounds
