Logic Pro Quick question about LP X and Yamaha S90

Hi All,

Need a clue as to how to get the sounds that are actually IN my yamaha S90 into logic pro X if I do not want to use the software sounds. I am plugged up via midi at the moment. I am sure there is some switch on the keyboard (or maybe the software) that I am not seeing.


Can someone lead me in the correct direction?

The sounds from your S90 would have to come into Logic via AUDIO, not MIDI. You'd need to cable the output from the S90 into Logic, probably via an audio interface.

MIDI simply sends data back and forth between Logic and the S90.
