Do it inside Logic. Put the audio inside Logic, find the tempo with BPM counter, right click on the audio, go down to export, and choose add to loop library.
The Apple Loops Utility SDK 3.0.1 can be downloaded from developer.apple.com Sign In - Apple after setting up an account. The ALU requires Mac OS X 10.5.6 (Leopard) or later, but to be sure, it doesn't work with Mojave. Not sure about other OS from the past 3 years or so.
There's a case to be made to keep an older system on hand with drives or partitions set up with various OS and apps.
