Logic Pro 8 RAM issue with LP 8..

Hey all, I'm using a LP 8 but recently received an error message " DAE requires 25 MB of memory. You currently have 0 allocated."

This happened after I connected laptop to a Digidesign 002 - went into preferences (audio) to make sure everything was okay. As usual, prompted to restart Logic to active Core.. and haven't been able to get back into Logic.

what gives


I'm running a MBP first gen, 2.16Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo with 1 GB, 10.6.2 OSX. The only thing I can think of maybe get another stick of RAM... but even without it, Logic was running fine when just using say my headphones.

solved it,

trashed the com.apple.logic.pro.plist from User/Library/preferences folder. that did the trick. Able to launch Logic

But 1 GB RAM is really not much.
You should upgrade if possible.

What Peter says - get another gig in there if at all possible (those max out at two gigs I believe?). It really should help performance.
