In addition to Mark's advice:
You'll see that there are default folders for the different kinds of Channel Strips: Aux, Bus, Input, Instrument, Master, Output and Track. Within these folders, you can also create and use subfolders to further organize your settings.
Another tip:
If you hold [Option] when you click on the [Setting] button at the top of a Channel strip, you can force Logic to load strips from all categories. For example, you can load a Bus Channel Strip into an Audio Instrument object. This may be useful if you want to load certain reverb settings etc.
