Logic Pro 9 Recording audio sometimes starts recording late bug?

Here's another thing that seems to happen to me fairly often. I'll have logic setup with a measure pre roll so that I don't have to punch in. I mostly do this when I'm remote controlling myself with my ipad while in another part of my studio. Many times during the overdub process Logic will start recording audio late, like a few beats late. Now, the audio is still there and I can retrieve by grabbing the audio file and pulling it to the left. It just seems that this should not be happening. Anyone else experience this?

Haven't experienced this. Is your count in setting set to a bar or something else? If it's on 6/4, for example, that could explain it. Although if it's inconsistent, you have to wonder.....
