Can anyone help/tell me why I keep getting a 'Recovered Files Folder' in my trash basket every time I close down Logic, Many thanks. Richard.

I have the same issue since quite a while...
I have read, after googling the issue, that same would be due to installation/un-installation process of some software that did not go either completely or properly, causing OSX to recuperate some files that should normally be considered as deleted by the system.
I tend to believe the hypothesis, as that issue started to occur since I have deleted some (many) unused or defective third party/shareware apps...
It was suggested, to solve the problem, to reinstall each app and reboot until the issue no longer appear, to find the culprit app. From there, to contact the vendor or author to obtain the proper uninstaller/procedure.
Considering that would involve a lot of time and work (in my case), without guarantee to solve the problem (author may not have any required solution), and probably worsening the situation (since there could be many apps involved in my situation), and finally, that so far, besides being nothing more than annoying to know there is always no more than that "Recovered files" folder containing always the same "VersionCheckResponse" file, I decided to wait for a better solution...
