Logic Pro Reset Secondary Ruler

Hello all,

Running into an issue where the secondary ruler seems to change 'scale' when i insert silence between locators. This makes my scrub forward and backwards respect the new scale and makes it impossible to read in some parts.

Is there a way to completely set the secondary ruler back to normal? I don't need whatever scaling functionality that applies, i just need the ruler for visual feedback.

Thanks!

Could be a graphic redraw issue. If you haven't done so already, try toggling the secondary ruler view off and back on. Also close and re-open project.
As an observation, you have a very large number of measures in the project, this could be a Logic display bug with projects that large.

Thank you for the reply.

Unfortunately it’s not just a graphic error. When I’m scrubbing inside or past those sections, the resolution of the scrub changes. I.e. when I scrub normally it jumps me 3ish seconds forward it back, but when I scrub in that section it’s a half a second scrub

Welcome - not sure of what else to suggest. I've rarely had projects with that many measures and I don't scrub on a regular basis. Last thought is you are working with a corrupt project. You could try importing that project into a new factory temple and see how it behaves.
Perhaps someone else can pipe in with better suggestions.....
