I have a perfectly functioning roland SI-24 with my old Logic/PC.
I really like not being stuck using the mouse for mixing and setting markers and all the other mouse clicking task. It's a nice integrated with logic control surface With motorized faders and real knobs! I'm a big fan of real knobs and faders.
Is it possible to get the SI-24 working with a Mac OS x 10.6.6 It normally plugs into a pci card with a printer style cable.
I understand that a old pci card and a Mac are probably not going get along, But I kicking around some sort of firewire to pci adaptor which probably doesn't exist.
I'm not sure the Si-24 will work without the pci card.
I'm saving my pennies for a metric halo, but in the meantime it would be nice to use what I have.
