Logic Pro 9 Running Logic in 64 bit while Mac is booted up in 64 bit

I'm now running the UAD beta which is 64 bit native. In order to do that one must boot up their Mac and run the actual computer in 64 bit kernel. Everything is peachy so far. But, I feel like Logic is running better, dare I say, snappier. I doubt that it really is but I thought I'd see if there's any scientific reason that that's possible. Maybe it's just that the Mac is able to run more efficiently making everything else run better? Anyone else experiencing this or have any knowledge on the subject?

It's the same, 64 bit rom and 32 bit rom shouldn't have anything to do with the apparent speed at all.
