Logic Pro 9 Samples in piano roll

Hi,

I'm new to Logic (I'm used to FL Studio) and would like to know how to get every sample (kick, snare, hihat,...) in it's own track and get it playable on the piano roll (so not: making a new wave sample with the kick in tempo in a 8 beat loop).

Now i'm using ultrabeat to make my full beat, but the problem is it's only assigned to one track so i can not reach individual samples with channel EQ etc.

Yes, after dragging the Ultrabeat pattern to the arrange window, select the region and choose from the local MIDI menu: Separate MIDI events > by note pitch
