I have a project set up with 14 Software Instrument tracks, and each track has its MIDI In Channel set to a different value and uses a different instrument.
I have Oboe on track 3 with MIDI In Channel set to 2. If I open its Smart Control to Keyswitches use my keyboard to send C0/D0/E0 to this track with the MIDI channel set to 2, I see the articulations change as shown on the keys. All good.
But... the thing I don't understand is...
I have Clarinet on track 4 with its MIDI In Channel set to 3. If I open its Smart Control to Keyswitches and continue to play C0/D0/E0 on MIDI channel 2 like I was...the articulation settings for Clarinet change here. In fact, this is true for all tracks on all MIDI channels in my project except the few tracks which do not have Smart Controls.
Why are the articulation changes global? Is there a way to configure this so each track/channel's articulation control is independent? I really need this to do multi-channel live recordings.
