Logic Pro Software Instrument uninstallation

Depends on the instrument.

Usually the instrument developer has information on how to uninstall.

The quick way is to just disable it in the Plug-In Manager in Logic.

The manual and incomplete way to do this is to remove the PLUGINNAME.component file from /Library/Audio/Plugins
Please note: this is the global Library folder at the root of your system drive. Making mistakes and messing with stuff there can break a lot of other things, please only go in there if you're comfortable with how macos works in this regard.

Thank you for your help. I found the global Library folder at the root of my system drive and removed the ".component" file from /Library/Audio/Plugins. I restarted my iMac and it resolved my issue.

… removed the ".component" file …
This works, but as wonshu said it is an incomplete removal. There is almost certainly still some data in your system that belongs to the plugin. If you want to get rid of those, you can use a good file search software (like "EasyFind"), search for the plugin name and for the manufacturer and remove the orphan files manually. Be careful and take a good look so as not to delete anything else.
