Seriously though, I cant remember when I imported lyrics from a MIDI file. So I'll make suggestions, not tips.
You're in linear view - score mode with 3 or 4 bars per line might open them up a bit.
If they are all one piece of information I'm not sure you can change them, unless you can within font information (kerning, whatever). If each word is a separate entry, you might be able to assign them notes by converting them to lyrics. I might just end up re-typing them....

Here's the answer:
Choose View > Page View.
Then Layout > Global Format...
Set Maximum Bars/Line to 4.
Choose View > Page View.
Then Layout > Global Format...
