SSL Duende Mini cheaper than Waves SSL: Please give advice

Dear fellows,

I could buy Duende Mini cheaper than Waves SSL at the moment.
Duende Mini (standard without additional plugs): $263

What should I buy? Duende Mini seems a real bargain.

Please give advice.

Aren't SSL in the process of porting their Plugins to native format?

I will buy it today.

1.
Native Version will come, but you will get mostly free upgrades from Duende hardware to Native.

I do not want to wait so long (perhaps 2 months ore more)
3.
For EUR 199 it is a real bargain. Only the plug is worth EUR 199,00 and you get the hardware for free.
4.
If Native comes out, you could use still the hardware, too.
 
from a pricing/bargainhunting point of view that all seems logical. Have you compared the two from a sound point of view? Should that be the prime factor when choosing Plugins?
 
I am aware of that, but surely the important thing for you is, which sound do you prefer?

Depends on the computer you have- if you have a beefy Mac you might consider the Waves- you may end up with more useable instances... from the way you asked the original question though I think you want us to tell you to get the Duende ; )
