Logic Pro Stereo Out not Stereo

Hello, Please advise on the following problem for a fairly new user:
I have a series of tracks recorded in Mono from a live show. In many of them, I'm using the NG-EL Stereoizer to create a stereo image and when I add that plugin, the meters change to L/R stereo on that channel. The output for each track is shown as "Stereo Out" and there are no busses, groups. All inputs shown as "Input 1".

At the Stereo Out channel - last before Master Out - it is shown as Stereo (double circle symbol) and two meters for L/R. However when I change the balance of one of my stereo tracks to say, ALL left pan, the Stereo Out does not reflect this and the output sounds Mono.

If I click the double circle, I get two output channels labeled "Stereo Out" and "Output 2" that DO reflect the stereo signals and sound correct.

QUESTION: Why is the default Stereo Out not stereo?? I'd rather that be the case so I don't have to duplicate plugins, etc with the dual-mono out described above.

Thx,
Jake

This issue may be related to the Stereoizer plug-in.

When Logic's Stereo Spread plug-in is inserted on mono tracks, the tracks and main output meters show stereo signals. Turning the pan/balance knobs alters the stereo meter balance on the channel strip/track and main output.

I think I figured it out and it is.. drum roll please... user error! I believe I had incorrectly selected a Mono version of the Platinum Reverb in this mix on the Stereo Out channel, which forced it back to mono...

Thx,
Jake
