Logic Pro Strange behavoir: External Controllers send CC16 when double-pressed

Whenever I double-press the Stop button on my MID controllers (CS12 and Komplete Kontrol S61) in quick succession, a CC16 command is sent to Logic (see attached screenshot).
With some plug-ins, this results in a learned MIDI CC16 parameter being changed.
If I press Stop once, no command is sent. If I press the Start button twice, for example, no command is sent either.
Can anyone explain this strange phenomenon? It's really annoying...

The problem seems to be a Roland Cloud Instruments exclusive problem because anytime I hit stop twice all RC Instruments change their octave range from VCO1 to 64. So I think I have to contact Roland Cloud support. I'm lost...

MIDI Monitor shows you between which MIDI ports events are travelling. Your MIDI events do not come from some mysterious source, unless they are generated in Logic itself. In any case, it is a help for any support to know which events are seen where. You can copy the relevant lines from MIDI Monitor and send them to support. Everyone who works seriously with MIDI on a Mac has MIDI Monitor or a similar programme in their toolbox. Even the support people.
