Logic Pro 9 stretching audio

Hi, I wondered if it is possible to stretch audio like you can with midi. When I play a bass guitar on the keyboard I can stretch a note to last as long as I want. Can you do this with say a note played on the guitar in audio?

Try cutting it in the Arrange Window so it is isolated in it's own region; and then option dragging the right corner of the region.

If it is one note from a polyphonic chord that you want to stretch, you'll need a third party plug-in called Melodyne.
