Logic Pro Sudden dose of Latency

I am getting massive latency all of a sudden yet my input conditions and LPX (10.3) settings all seem to be the same as used for another project using the same template and which has no latency at all ... I am missing something .. what is it, can anyone help?

Try unchecking, then checking on Core Audio: Enabled.
Click Apply Changes or just close the window.

I'm having the same problem, terribly out of sync when I enable All on delay compensation, upping the buffer creates more latency. Did you find a solution?
