Logic Pro Sync to exernal audio click

In the help, under 'Synchronisation overview', it says 'Logic Pro X also supports manual or “human” sync, when slaved. This is not a synchronization protocol per se, but enables Logic Pro X to follow tempo changes in real time. As an example, it could chase a live drummer.' Can anyone explain how to actually do that: for instance, follow an external audio click? I tried a couple of things, but couldn't seem to get it to work.

Indeed. I gave up. The actual problem was syncing Logic and SuperCollider. What I did in the end was have Logic send midi clock and have SuperCollider follow that. A bit flaky and unreliable, but worked ok for what I was wanting to do.

Would still be interested in a reply to the original question!
