Logic Pro sysex fader crashing logic

Hi. I have logic 10.0.6 and I have it installed on a Macbook Pro using 10.9 and a Mac mini using 10.8.4. If I go into a midi environment, created a new fader and select the input as sysex, it automatically crashes on both computers. Anyone else experience this bug?
