Tim Cook (Apple CEO) inspiring speech

Hi Luggers: I just watched and listened to an inspiring speech given by Apple's CEO Tim Cook a few days ago, when he received from his alma mater Auburn University, a lifetime achievement award.

From the web:
Throughout his remarks, Cook highlighted his overall support for the progression of human equality in the United States and throughout the world. The CEO cited a section from the United Nations preamble emphasizing equality, and talked about finding a company in Apple that "deeply believed in advancing humanity through its products and through the equality of all of its employees."

I am more impressed with Apple than ever before.

Thanks Karen for bringing this to my attention. I just watched (part of) the speech and it is very good indeed. The part about gay rights is very important for me. "Now is the time to write these basic principles of human dignity into the book of law." So true!
