I hope someone can help me out here. I'm trying to record vocals against an instrumental bed I have created in Logic 9 and I am having no luck. I have recently 'graduated' to Logic 9 from Garage Band. I really dig it, but I find it quite overwhelming at times.
I created a 4-track instrumental bed with Logic 9.1.8 (I'm using OS 10.10.1 on a late 2012 iMac with 2.0 GHz Intel) It all plays back just fine. But when I plugged in my Yeti microphone (and selected the Yeti as the proper input) I can not hear the tracks play back for me to record my voice against.
I imagine it's a very simple fix, but I can not figure it out for the life of me.
Help out a Noob?
Thanks!
PS: additional info: I have plugged my Yeti mic directly into a USB port on my iMac. I have my synth channeled through a Midisport 2X2. Do I need to plug my mic into something other than my Mac? I feel STUPID . . .
