Logic Pro Track Height In Automation Mode

Hi,

Can't seem to get this settled:

When switching to automation mode, my target track appears at max height, so I have to wrestle with it to make it smaller. Any way to set the program so that I'll know what to expect (a narrower track) when I switch over?

Use Control Z (Toggle Zoom Focused Track) or one of the 'reset' track zoom commands.
