I have recently chosen to go back to some older tracks to clean them up a bit. During work on a guitar track the sound quit...... I hadn't muted the track or done anything that I thought could've caused this. I had gone into some of the settings to try to turn off the reverb......
The guitar part was set to a guitar sound from ARIA player - mellow guitar K or KS. I looked through the settings within ARIA player....... Controls were all set to 0%, the mixer was all set to 0, the effects ( reverb ) was set to 0. The equalizer was set to Lo freq - 0, the Lo gain to middle, the Hi freq - 0, and the Lo gain to 0. The damping was also set to 0. The slider in the mixer window is et at 4.0.
Then under the regular channel strip settings there is the compressor, channel EQ and ChromVerb.......... could any of these settings be to blame?
So to summarize I need to find out how to turn off the reverb in the guitar part and also get the track sound back. I'm using LOGIC X.
Thanks so much!
