Hi,
I'm using a newer iMac with OSX.7 and just bought and installed Komplete 8. I was told it's a good idea to have all sound libraries on an external drive and keep the plug-ins on the actual computer drive. I tried to do this during the installation process of Komplete 8 and as far as it looked to me, it worked. But, after some producing and writing, I can still access all the sounds when I'm not using my external drive that I thought I placed all the sound libraries in. There is no difference whether I have the drive on or off. How do I make sure that the sound libraries are NOT on my computer and are only on the external drive? If they are on my computer, what's the simplest way to transfer them over to the external drive?
Thank you so much! I hope to get a response. Please ask questions if you need more info.
