Logic Pro (X) triangle on take folders not showing up

I just started a new project and can't figure out why the triangle on my takes folder is not showing up? I'm puzzled!

What am I doing wrong?

bottom picture from new one

If I though open a NEW template , i.e.songwriter - it all works again and shows the triangle ....!

Hi there, welcome to the LUG.

It looks very much as if the second example where the triangle is not showing, has only one take. In order for logic to activate takes/comping, at least two takes have to exist.

Thank you Mark! I did have a number of takes! Only a few minutes ago I got this tip to 'deselect' this (see image) menu item! A thing I never used before! As soon as I deselected it my life went back to normal - the triangle re-appeared ;-)
