Logic Pro 9 UNLOCK AUDIO FILE

does anyone know how to unlock audio file???? im using a pencil tool to draw in sample editor but it tells me that (the audio file can not be changed ... volume or file is locked) i look at my bin and there is no lock feature on my audio.... i never had this issue on logic 8 and i can not find anything under the help or the logic manual help please

Where is the audio file stored? If it is on a hard drive, use the finder to locate it, then check its permissions and make sure that the user you are logged onto on your system as has rights to make changes to it. If it is on a CD, DVD or some other form of read only storage, you should copy it onto a hard drive, once again checking permissions after you did this.
