Logic Pro Unwanted Looping

I have a strange problem:

I'm adding a software instrument to a project - I record a section - as soon as I hit Stop the section loops all the way to the end.

Anyone have any ideas?

It's because you have loop enabled in your region inspector as one of the default midi through parameters.

Deselect all, disable the loop check box, and all will be fine after that.
