Logic Pro (X) Unwelcome rests in this time of isolation

Empty bar in 3/4 shows pesky rests. please view screenshot. Bar 37, letter C, one bar after the playhead.
Deleting nearby events has no effect, besides which all events are on the beat.
Any ideas how to clean this up before I post it with an embarrased note to my colleagues?

PS replacing with a partbox rest doesn't work either.

This is a tip learned from an Asher post, so thank him for this.
- In the tracks area, split the region that includes the unwanted rests.
- Duplicate the staff style -Treble in your case -, then set Rest to Hide.
- Assigned this duplicated staff style to the region with the unwanted rests.

HJi CSeye and Jay, that certainly works to expel the aberrant rests but now the chart is in 2 parts so requires creating a score set with just that track instrument. Works beautifully.

Hello Peter, No need for a score set for a separate track. Just split the region on the existing track.
Yellow arrows point to the measure with rests split into a separate region and assisgned the staff style set up to hide the rests.
The blue arrows indicates the remainder of the original region, assigned the original staff style.

Hi CSeye, when I followed the original advice ( above) I got 2 distinct regions and they wouldn't connect for display/print.
Looking at your image ( above) I see that the score style (Filter) = the track, which is what I mean.
I think we're on the same page :)
stay well
