Logic Pro 8 Upgrade from Logic 8 Express to Logic 9?

Anyone know of a way I can get credit for my Logic 8 Express Purchase to put towards an Upgrade to Logic 9? I"ve been told that because I purchased Express I would have to buy Logic 9 at Full Price. Seems unfair but maybe you guys have ideas.

Good news! You can buy a Logic Express to Logic Studio upgrade in the Apple Store (it's in stock online, if not your local Apple Store). I believe it's $299, which is $200 cheaper than the full package.
