Currently my audio and video files or on 2 x 1 TB drives. So my TM drive s backing up my mac HD and those two. But it hasn't got enough space to add another drive.
I now want to transfer the stuff on those two drives to one bigger 2TB SSD external.
So my question is, can I add this drive and keep all the existing backups of so this just adds to them instead of using up a whole lot more space (which there isn't enough of)?
I know that cloud backups will do this, ie they reshuffle stuff about so it doesn't have to backup the whole lot over again and duplicate.
