So last night, Logic was glitchy with V-Control. I was trying to compare/contrast them, and probably because I tried opening V-Control AND the Logic Remote, for a while nothing worked. I basically had to wipe everything out, reboot and repent.
I do the singer/songwriter thing, so the iPad remote is actually more valuable to me than a hardware controller on a wire, which I don't have anyway. I have to say, so far V-Control seems much more powerful and relevant. It's pretty clear that the V-Control was designed for LP-9. I don't see anything on the Neyrinck website that suggests they have updated it. I'm pretty sure I don't like the stock program; it is clearly set up for GB and it just looks cheesy, and doesn't have things like markers. How disappointing.
So despite having invested $$ in V-C and really preferring it's layout, I'm worried that it may be glitchy and I'm looking at others. Can anyone comment on lpTouch, ProRemote or others? They do not specifically mention version X.
In the meantime I'll put V-C through it's paces and comment back. I don't see much in the way of threads here dedicated to the subject, and certainly not in the X section. Maybe most of you are power users and tied to your hardware, but perhaps there are some like me who lurk here.
Thanks.
