Logic Pro Volume Full

Hi there
I am currently recording a lot of multitrack sessions (24 tracks) and every now and then I get a box saying "Volume Full" implying that my HD is full which it's not. I can easily fix this by just closing Logic and reopen it but I wonder if there's a way to avoid it. It's been there for a while so it's not a Catalina/10.5 problem.

I only experience it on these very big sessions and only after recording for maybe 2 hours.

All the best

I haven't run into this, but discussions on the web do not seem to point a tangible cause.
You can try to disengage record on active tracks, then re-engage record.

Hopefully, others with better information will respond.

Cheers.

Hi again
This is only I problem (in my experience) with very large sessions so very few will run into this. It seems like tracking 24 channels at once is not the dish of the day 🙂
I know that it's also a problem in Final Cut Pro so I think it has to do with the way MacOS handles huge files and most likely it's not a Logic issue (although Apple makes all of them)....

PS it's been there since 10.13 at least and I have experienced it on at least 3 different machines and setups so it is not just my system, it's probably a regular bug but it's so easy to work around that no-one has done anything about it.

Cheers
