Logic Pro 7 & earlier Weird problem converting os9 logic songs

Hi all, long time no see ( 20 years ). I’m trying to load some projects from logic 3 stored on an os 9 machine.

i can read them in logic 5 and save them but when I look at them on an os 10 machine they aren’t logic files anymore And logic 7 can’t recognise them.

i have had no problem converting lots of songs from 3 using Logic 7 and then opening in 10.3 Pro but these on this drive are behaving as though they are old style Mac file with a resource fork and won’t copy over. Os 10.13 thinks they are Unix executables.

anyone seen this before ?

To answer my own question. I have found a solution in case someone ever has the same problem. On the Os9 G4 I ijust nstalled 10.2 as well. The Logic songs are then available from the 10.2 bootup and for some reason on 10.2 it can see them properly and I have transferred them all through the network. Very odd but heyho.
