Logic Pro What to do with takes I want to keep but not use

I'm wondering if anyone has advice for what to do with sounds and takes I've recorded and want to keep separate from the project folder they are recorded in. For example, I was in the middle of working on a song when I happened to record my daughter talking. I want to keep that audio but not in the project file file it was recorded in. How or where would you recommend making a "loose ends" folder for this kind of thing?

Hello,
This is very easy to do.
Make a marquee selection of the section or select the region you want, then File menu>Export>Selection as Audio File. Or if it's a separate region, then use Regions to Audio Files.
