Logic Pro why am I suddenly see a connecting line in score editor

Here is what I'm seeing. I see it with plain text and with lyrics and other types of text. I haven't seen this before. I've tried using the pencil tool, I tried dragging the text or lyric box where I want it to be, and this connecting line still shows up. I went into an alternate version, and that connecting line isn't there. Perhaps this happened after I imported project settings from another project. I just went back into the project that I imported from, and checked it out for this problem. It's not there.

I figured out how to correct this. I replied to my own post. Sorry if this is considered "double posting."

I figured this out. In the score editor under "view" I needed to turn "guides" to off.
