Logic Pro X environment

Hi.
Can anyone tell me how I can make a midi object that I create in the environment window show up in the external instrument plugin?
It also doesn't show up in the 'OUTPUT' field when I make a new external midi track, but does show in the library on the left in the arrange / main window once I've made the track. But I can't access that from the external instrument plugin

Thanks

Pete

MIDI Objects in the Environment are "Environment Objects". You assign a MIDI Port and MIDI Channel to that Environment Object.
The Output filed in the New Track Dialog and the External Instruments Plugin show the available MIDI ports (and MIDI channels) of the connected MIDI Devices.
The Library Window shows you all the MIDI Ports and the "Other" item lists all the MIDI Environemnt Objects. Selecting them, will select the MIDI Ports that are assigned to that object.
I hope that makes sense.
