Logic Pro (X) Garage Band Duplicate Files

Hello all,
I'm new here so you may have to bear with me as, over time, I'm going to be asking lots of questions...
Regarding Logic and Garage Band duplicate files: Can I safely uninstall Garage Band, as I hate wasting disc space? I have downloaded all Logics 'additional content', by the way.
And thank you, Peter Ostry, for your help with the log-in.

Garage Band by itself is not that large an App, is it the additional content that is bothering you? If so, removing it should not cause problems other than the App possibly flagging you that content is missing. At the same time, I'm not sure if there should be duplicate content files, if that is what you mean. What is IMO not so good is that both Garage Band and Logic want to have content installed on the system Drive/SSD. This can indeed cause major space problems if you have128 or even 256 GB mass storage. It would be extremely helpful if we could still decide for ourselves where/on which drive to put this stuff, that used to be a standard option until around Logic 9.1.6 or thereabouts.
