Logic Pro Logic sysex at startup and device change?

oortone

Logic version
11.2.1
What's with the big sysex message bulk that Logic sends to all ports at startup and also when there's a change in the MIDI hardware setup? It only happens when Logic is active. According to Snoize Midi Monitor:
1 JL Cooper message
1 Universal Non Realtime messages
16 Loud Technologies /Mackie messages
1 Universal Non Realtime message
1 JL Cooper message

It even sends this to it's own "Virtual Out" which seems strange since that hardly goes to any hardware. It also sends it to the virtual Euphonix Ports.

Is it causing you some problems? If yo, please provide some system details.

Here, when launching Logic, Midi Monitor recognises all the MIDI sources on my Mac, some 34 in total. I'm not aware that this has any effect on working in Logic or anything else.

kind regards

Mark
