Logic Pro (X) Midi problem Logic X, please help!

The other day we installed a freeware Super JV patch Liberian/editor, and now our midi input is screwed; we can play already recorded midi parts, but when we try to record new midi there's no sound, tho we'll hear some of the keystrokes about 5 seconds later in a little diminishing loop.. all ideas welcome...

Sounds like it might be some kind of IAC or MIDI feedback loop? Did you set up a bus in Audio MIDI setup?

Check your physical input in Logic's Environment on the Clicks and Ports layer. Try disconnecting the SUM cable, and then systematically attaching the rest one at a time to see if you can isolate if any of those MIDI streams are causing the problem.
