Containers and Volumes External HD

I'm in the process of moving to my Mac mini and started with 1 container and keep adding volumes to it. So far I did 1)Logic sounds 2)Superior drum samples3)Pictures.....I want to make an Audio volume and a O.S. backup volume (I'll be using Carbon Copy Cloner).
So the question is, should I make a new container for Backup/Audio? or is adding more volumes good?

There is no point in separating drives into volumes except for a backup OS volume, but that will be created invisibly by the OS in the background anyway. Use Folders and you're set. Always use *another* drive for backup, because if your single drive goes down it will take a backup that's on it down as well.
