Editorial enhancements to Logic Pro automation

Hello, I would like to enhance Logic Pro automated editing, and the snapping function of Logic Automation is not very good at snapping exactly where I want it

If you are working in the main workspace with logic's automation, and (not sure if this is what you mean) want to precisely position atuomation nodes, zoom is your friend. Here I can position automation pretty much sample accurately against Audio on the tracks I may be automating. For example, this could be a super fast snare gate, 2 versions:
