Logic Pro pitch bend range for EXS24

How can I increase the pitch bend range for this instrument. I've tried moving pitch to 12 and bend to 36, but it doesn't change from a whole tone. You can see in the bottom right the instrument. I want the first pitch bend to drop down a minor third and the last one to be the maximum possible.

Are you sure you're edting Pitch Bend and not Pan which also shows as a green line ?

Damn, now I can't remember what piece that was. I have to remember to put in a reference for myself.
I can't say for certain that is not pan data, but I'm 99% sure it is pitch bend and it is only moving 2 semitones or so. I think my problem is more with the instrument. It is a complicated interface and I don't see where to set the pitch bend range, other than in the bottom left of the second window it says range and bend, but I manipulated them and they seemed to have no effect, IIRC.
